WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

Through the contact form, we collect: full name, email address, message or enquiry, and any other data you voluntarily include.

WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

  • To manage and respond to your enquiry (Art. 3.1).
  • To follow up on your interest in GABS programmes (Art. 3.2).
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations (Art. 3.3).

LEGAL BASIS

  1. Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): granted by checking the checkbox on the contact form. Withdrawable at any time without retroactive effect.
  2. Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): for commercial follow-up after your initial enquiry (max. 2-3 contacts within 30 days of enquiry). You may object at any time.
  3. Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR): when required by law.
  4. Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): when you request    information about a specific programme with enrolment intent.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

  • Active: up to 3 years from the last interaction.
  • Blocked: after 3 years, data is blocked (no operational use) for the duration of applicable legal limitation periods.
  • Deleted: permanently and securely erased after limitation periods expire.
  • If you enrol in a programme, your data transfers to your academic file under applicable educational and tax regulations.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties, except:

  • Legal obligation (regulatory authorities).
  • Your express consent for a specific transfer.
  • Data Processors (hosting, CRM, LMS, email tools) under signed DPA   agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). They act only under GABS instructions.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some technology providers may be located outside the EEA. In such cases, GABS applies Chapter V GDPR safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms). For more information: privacidad@gabs.education

YOUR RIGHTS (Arts. 15-22 GDPR)

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: obtain a copy of your data held by GABS.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion when data is no longer necessary.
  • Restriction: suspend processing in specific circumstances.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw at any time without retroactive effect.
  • No automated decisions: GABS does not make decisions about you based   solely on automated processing or profiling.

COMPLAINTS

If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es

AUTOMATED DECISIONS

GABS expressly declares that it does not make decisions about users based solely on automated processing — including profiling — that produce legal effects or significantly affect them. No algorithm autonomously manages your enquiry without human intervention.
